It’s no secret that pursuing higher education after high school can be costly. If you're looking for ways to offset those expenses, scholarships are an excellent option. As a Jolt member, you have exclusive access to apply for the Msgr. Forbes Scholarship!
Established in 1982 to honor the legacy of former board member Monsignor Eugene Forbes, this scholarship reflects his commitment to encouraging young adults to continue their education after high school. In 2024 alone, the trustees awarded an impressive $81,600 to 169 members, bringing the total amount awarded over the years to more than $2.4 million!
The Msgr. Forbes Scholarship is open to all Jolt members planning to attend or currently enrolled in a college, university, community college, or trade/technical school. Awards are based on personal achievements, scholastic accomplishments, financial need, community service, and grade point average. Jolt is excited to support students of all ages in achieving their educational dreams!
