Sleep in Heavenly Peace

For Better Nights. For Brighter Mornings. For GOOD.

There’s something powerful about a good night’s sleep. It brings comfort and the chance to wake up ready for a new day.

But for too many children in our communities, bedtime means sleeping on a couch, an air mattress or even the floor.

And Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a nonprofit with local chapters serving the Great Lakes Bay Region, is doing something about it. Its volunteers build beds and deliver them with mattresses, pillows and bedding to local children who need them. Their mission is simple, no kid sleeps on the floor in our town.

That mission spoke to us.

At the end of 2025, Jolt gave $75,000 to 15 local nonprofits doing GOOD in the communities we serve. Sleep in Heavenly Peace was one of them, receiving $5,000 to help build more beds.

But our support didn’t stop with a check.

Jolt staff recently rolled up their sleeves and worked alongside Sleep in Heavenly Peace volunteers to help build beds. We left with a little sawdust on us and a whole lot of GOOD in our hearts.

Because a bed is more than a piece of furniture. And for a child who has never had one, it can change everything.
