PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Looking Beyond the Pandemic
Springtime is finally here! We welcome this season with cautious optimism as
we begin to see fewer Michigan Department of Health and Human Services
restrictions and more economic activity. Warmer weather, longer days and a
lot of good news give us hope that life is finally shifting into something a bit
more normal.
As of April 1st, Jolt has resumed normal hours at all our locations. We
ALAN WATSON are happy to welcome all of you back and grateful for your patience and
President/CEO understanding while we worked through the past several months to keep you
and our staff safe. Our long-term position is we want staff available to you in
person and our teams working together on site as much as possible. As a reminder, our drive-thru service
and mobile and online banking will continue to be a safe and convenient option for your transactions.
In the spirit of “looking beyond the pandemic”, you will begin to see construction activity next door
to the main office on State Street. I am very excited Jolt will be utilizing the vacant lot to build a new
administrative building – please see the rendered image and additional information included here in the
newsletter. This will be a great enhancement to our footprint in Saginaw Township and culminates years
of planning with our Board of Directors & other business partners. You can expect regular updates as
the work progresses and we encourage you to visit our social media pages to stay up to date and see all
the good work that Jolt is doing out in the community.
Thank you for your membership!
Alan
ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDING
GROUNDBREAKING
Jolt Credit Union is excited to announce the
groundbreaking of a new 28,000 square foot
administrative building.
The team’s strategic operations plan took advantage
of the adjacent land for sale next to the State
Street, Saginaw location and derived a forward-
thinking campus approach. The construction of a new
administrative location designed by TSSF Architects
for our growing team will unite a total of more than
40 team members from five departments who were
formerly operating remotely from separate buildings and
locations. Having the e-Services, Member Support Contact
Center, Information Technology, Community Affairs and
Marketing teams under one roof in this new facility will improve
communication and collaboration within the credit union. The other
credit union locations will have the opportunity to repurpose areas for
additional member service space where these staff were working.
The administrative building will also feature a training and conference space that will be used for
financial literacy community programs and to hold periodic all-staff training when restrictions on
indoor gathering have been lifted.
Construction by Spence Brothers is scheduled to be completed in Summer 2022.
